What’s the Difference in Paint Protection Film (PPF) & Ceramic Coating
Paint protection film and ceramic coating are different in both material and purpose.
PPF is a vinyl wrap that is generally done on the front of the car, though it can be added to the entire car. Paint protection film’s purpose is to add a literal layer of protection to your car. It’s great for protecting your car’s body and paint from road debris, rocks, dust, liquids, acorns, etc.
Ceramic coating is a polymer liquid. It’s almost like a clear paint. Ceramic coating’s purpose is to make your car shine better than ever in addition to making your car easier to wash and resistant to scratches.
Some car owners choose one over the other, and some mix and match depending on their goals. If you’d like to chat about what you are looking for, give us a call or chat and we’d be happy to talk you through it with zero pressure or obligation.
